Lions Capture Two New Signings

We are delighted to be able to announce a double signing.

Firstly, 23 year-old striker Mike Fondop has moved to Nethermoor until the end of the season following a spell at Oxford City last campaign.

Paul Cox has been on the hunt for a striker and looks to have found his man ahead of the visit from Macclesfield Town tonight.

We have also secured the one-month loan signing of Lewis Freestone from Peterborough United.

The 17 year-old left-back has made four first team appearances for The Posh and has also had other temporary spells at Cambridge City and St Albans.

The double signing follows swiftly on from the arrival of Simon Lenighan on Saturday.

The midfielder made his Lions debut in the 3-0 defeat at Maidenhead United replacing the injured Danny Lowe in the first half.

The 23 year-old has previously played at Rotherham United after coming through the Leeds United academy.

Welcome to Guiseley AFC lads!

Mike Fondop
