Guiseley add another win to their unbeaten streak, beating Tranmere Rovers 4-0 at their temporary home of Woodhouse Grove School.
Natalie Brace bagged two along with Sarah Danby and Chantelle O’Hara who got one each although it could have many more if not for the woodwork.
The Vixens started well and got their first chance in the second minute when a shot from Liv Thackray made goalkeeper Lily Meadows produce a great save to tip it wide of her post. A second in as many minutes produced an almost carbon copy, again being pushed away from goal.
A corner whipped in by Danby saw Liv DaCosta get on the receiving end and her power header clattered off the post, the follow-up shot from Alarna Fuller narrowly going wide.
The woodwork was once again hit 15 minutes in when Charlie Blythe shot from distance leaving Meadows rooted to the floor but it wasn’t to be, bouncing on the line and into the ‘keeper’s arms.
The opening goal came in the 18h minute. A ball was played through from O’Hara to Ellie Hall who cut it back Brace who found herself in space on the edge of the box. She composed herself before curling the ball over the goalkeeper to make it 1-0.
She got another just five minutes before halftime when she dispossessed Taye Jones in the box and slotted the ball past Meadows as the Vixens went into half time 2-0 up.
DaCosta was unlucky to hit her crossbar early on the second half when she found herself in space 30 yards out and unleashed a thunderous effort, which left the ‘keeper grounded but unfortunately it hit the upright.
The third was added when Meadows and her defender miscommunicated, gifting Danby the ball to put away.
O’Hara put the game to bed five minutes from time when she side-footed a ball across the box from Liv Thackray.
The Vixens now face third place Chorley at home next Sunday.
